Light Workers: A Continuation of Subconscious Expressions of the Southwest Desert and the Cosmos by Michael Dodson Exhibition
The Light Workers are the flora throughout the Southern Nevada desert, specifically the varieties of cacti, chollas and yuccas. They work to transform the photons from the sun into nourishment and shelter for the surrounding ecosystem. This exhibition is my attempt to coalesce these invisible processes with the chemical interactions fueling my own consciousness.
